This course provides you with everything you need to learn AgilePM® and prepare for the official exam.

The AgilePM Foundation is a widely recognised, advanced certificate for project managers working in Agile environments. The methodology belongs to the DSDM Consortium, and the certification and exam is administered by APMG. The exam is online, and you can take it from home or work, everywhere in the world. The course will be available for one year since you purchase it.

This program doesn’t have any prerequisites.

This eLearning course is equal to a 3 day classroom course. It’s consisted of about 10 hours of video training, 3 educational games (each in two levels), and sample questions.

About the Author

The course is written and delivered by Nader K. Rad.

Nader is a project management author, speaker, and adviser from Management Plaza. He has written more than 40 books on the subject, and has designed about 12 classroom courses and 9 elearning courses, including this one. Nader has been the official reviewer of standards such as PRINCE2® and PRINCE2 Agile®, and he is a contributor to the PMBOK Guide, Agile Scrum Master certification program, and P3.express standard.

He started his career as a project planner in 1997, then became interested in the wider aspects of project management, and started his new mission: helping project managers develop their competencies. Nader has experience in process plant and construction projects, as well as IT development. He has also been involved in multiple startups. This has provided him with experience in both predictive (or “waterfall” if you will) and Agile environments.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Philosophy of Science; and he is certified as PMP®, PRINCE2® Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile™ Practitioner, MoP Practitioner, MSP Foundation, MoR Foundation, MoV Foundation, P3O Foundation, AgilePM Practitioner, ITIL Foundation, CSM, PSM I, PSPO I, Agile Scrum Foundation, Advanced in Structured and Critical Thinking, Integrator in Agile Service Projects, and Ethical Hacking Foundation at the time of this recording.  He’s also an accredited trainer for AgilePM and other topics.

FAQ

Q. Can I use this course for my 35 contact hours required for the exam?
A. Of course! This is a standard course delivered by a PMI R.E.P.

Q. Can I get PDUs by taking this course?
A. PDUs are for those who already have a PMI certificate, not those who are preparing for one. So, if you are preparing for the PMP exam, you’ll get “contact hours”, but if you are already certified and take this course, then you can submit 42 PDUs.

Q. Are the flashcards available with free access?
A. The “integrated flashcards” are part of the lessons 19 to 75, and are practices online. They are not available for download, but you have access to some of them while you’re using the free lessons. In this system, new cards related to each lesson are added to the pool, and you can practice all of them with a specific space repetition technology. The goal is to continuously practice what you have learned in the previous lessons.

Q. How long is the course available after purchase?
A. One year.

Q. Is this course enough for passing the exam?
A. While no one can really guarantee your success in the exam, we’ve tried our best to include everything you need in this package.

Q. What are the prerequisites for the PMP exam?
A. 4500 hours of work experience related to project management for those who have a university degree, and 7500 hours for others, and a standard training in project management (this elearning course). Note that the experience has to be related to project management activities (e.g. helping a project manager counts), and you don’t have to be a project manager yourself.

Q. There are many PMP courses; how can I choose?
A. The best way is to check and compare the demos, and see which one is the best for you.

Q. What differentiates your course course from others?
A. Instead of being focused on the exam, we are focused on teaching project management from the PMBOK point of view, which makes the course more practical and not boring. On the other hand, this is also the best way you can pass the exam.
